Galaxy S24 lineup receives One UI 7.0 Beta 5
While Samsung’s community moderators refuted rumors about the company potentially rolling out up to six One UI 7.0 beta updates to the Galaxy S24 series, delaying the stable version until April, the rumors are turning out to be accurate. The Korean firm has officially confirmed that the stable version will arrive in April. And now, we have a new beta update.
One UI 7.0 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra arrives with the build number ZYC6. It bundles the March security patch. But more importantly, Samsung has addressed several known bugs for enhanced system stability, clearing its way for the stable release. The changelog mentions fixes for issues across Now Bar, lock screen, widgets, notification history, Gallery, and more.
Additionally, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ get support for Samsung Log function in camera, allowing professional-grade videography. Introduced with the Galaxy S25 series, this feature rolled out to the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the previous beta update. Beta 5 for the Ultra model weighs 975MB in India, though the size can vary depending on model and region.
As mentioned above, Samsung is rumored to release at least one more beta update for the Galaxy S24 trio. It could arrive later this month or in early April, with the stable version following a few weeks later.
