A few hours ago, Samsung rolled out the first One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S23 series. The company has now launched the beta program for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. The update is available for users in South Korea and should soon expand to the US, the UK, and India.
Galaxy Tab S10 also joins Samsung’s One UI 7.0 beta program
Samsung has been testing the One UI 7.0 update in beta since early December last year. It has already rolled out four beta builds to the Galaxy S24 series and one each to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy Tab S10 lineup in the latest to receive the beta update, with the Galaxy A55 confirmed to join the party later this month.
As of this writing, the One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy Tab S10 is confirmed to be available only in Korea. However, Samsung has announced that the beta program will also roll out in the US, the UK, and India, so its arrival in these regions is just a matter of time. The Galaxy S23 series received its first beta simultaneously in all four markets.
Korean Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra users are receiving the first beta update with the firmware build number ZYC2. It bundles the March security patch alongside the myriad of UI changes and feature improvements. However, as we pointed out the other day, Samsung hasn’t properly optimized One UI 7.0 for big screens. There’s a lot of blank space across the UI.
Hopefully, the company will address this with subsequent beta releases, or at least the final update. It plans to roll out the stable version in April, starting with the Galaxy S24 series. We will let you know when the update arrives.
