Update 02/08 1:50 PM EST: There are 18 user reviews, and, unsurprisingly, none of them are thrilled with the non-Bluetooth S Pen. Not a single review goes above 1 star, so the average? Yep, a perfect 1.0.
One of the biggest missteps in Samsung’s history is without a doubt… the removal of the Bluetooth S Pen from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Sure, Samsung defended the move, saying less than 1% of people actually used it. But that hasn’t stopped fans from raising a storm. Some have been hammering the product with 1-star ratings, and it’s clear they’re not happy about the change.
Everyone is annoyed with no Bluetooth support in Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen
One of the main issues with removing Bluetooth from the S Pen is that you can no longer take photos remotely. As one user points out, “Just got the S25 Ultra and noticed I can’t take photos remotely with the S Pen.” Another said, “No Bluetooth. Can’t take pictures remotely or control media anymore. As someone who used those features all the time, this is a deal breaker.”
Many users depended on these features for everyday tasks, and losing them has caused frustration. So far, only nine people have shared their concerns, but all of them gave it a 1-star rating. For some, this change is a major disappointment, even with other upgrades. Except for the Bluetooth S Pen, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a lot to offer, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a significant battery boost compared to the S24 Ultra without any increase in capacity, and more. But wouldn’t it have been great if it had just one more feature to make it even better?
That’s why, we at SammyGuru even started a petition, hoping to rally everyone to sign. Our goal is to get Samsung to bring back the Bluetooth-powered S Pen with the Galaxy S26 series — or even revive the Note line. Since the company is already bringing back the iconic Edge branding, why not resurrect the Note too, keeping that niche audience in mind?
As for the Change.org petition, we’re nearing 7,500 signatures as of now. So, if you’re upset about this change, go ahead and sign, and share it with fellow S Pen fans who might feel the same.
