The tech publication YTECHB has published a handful of official-looking renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A16. The images shared by the source suggest both the 4G and 5G models of the Galaxy A16 will be available in three color options each. The phone’s 5G model will be a more premium-looking device, thanks to a shiny pattern on the back. The handset will be available in color variants like Blue Black, Light Green, and Gray.
As for the 4G model of the smartphone, it is expected to cost less and will feature a simple plain back panel. Notably, the latest leak suggests the phone will launch in Black, Light Green, and Gray color models. The latest leak didn’t reveal anything else about the Galaxy A16.
Galaxy A16 will be a budget offering with 18W fast charging
Notably, the previous leaks have revealed the Galaxy A16 will be an affordable offering. The handset was recently certified by both FCC and TUV Rheinland. The certifications suggested that the budget devices will offer 18W fast charging. Design-wise, the Galaxy A16 will offer a U-shaped notch to house the selfie snapper and a triple primary camera module. The handset’s power button and volume keys will be located on the right side.
Furthermore, the Galaxy A16 will offer a 6.7-inch display. A Samsung Exynos 1300 chipset will power the phone. In some regions, the phone could use the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The phone will offer up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of native storage. A 5,000mAh battery is expected to keep the handset alive.
Lastly, the rumor mill suggests that the Galaxy A16 will get six years of Android software and security feature updates. Since almost everything about the device is leaked already, we can expect it to be officially launched very soon.
