We’re inching closer to the Galaxy S25 series launch. If things go as planned (or reported), we’ll see Samsung’s upcoming flagship hit shelves after Galaxy Unpacked, set for January 23, 2025. Right on schedule, all three variants — Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra — have now been spotted on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database.

First spotted by Phone Scoop, the upcoming Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are listed on the FCC website with model numbers SM-S931U, SM-S936U, and SM-S938U, respectively. While details are still scarce, the listings do let a few key tidbits slip through the cracks.
All three siblings of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series support 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. However, the Galaxy S25 misses out on ultra-wideband (UWB) support, while the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra include it.
Galaxy S25 will support 25W charging, whereas S25+ and S25 Ultra will support 45W
According to the FCC listing shared by 91Mobiles, the Galaxy S25 has been tested with the travel adapter model EP-TA800, which suggests support for 25W charging, similar to the current Galaxy S24. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra use the travel adapter model EP-T2510, which indicates they’ll support 45W wired charging.
The S25 Ultra will also include the S-Pen, with model number EJ-PS938, made by Wacom. Furthermore, the regular Galaxy S25 will support 9W wireless charging. If it comes through, it could be a step down from the 15W wireless charging offered by its predecessor.
