Samsung is gradually rolling out One UI 6 Watch to more Galaxy Watch users around the world. The big update is widely available for Watch 6 users, while the company also recently released it for Watch 5 beta users. It should soon cover the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch FE models.
One UI 6 Watch is rolling out to Galaxy Watch more users
After several months of beta testing, Samsung released the stable version One UI 6 Watch in late October. It first rolled out the update to Galaxy Watch 6 beta users. Last week, the company announced a wider rollout. We can now confirm its availability for non-beta users in several markets, including the US.
Additionally, the stable One UI 6 Watch update is now available for Galaxy Watch 5 beta users. Samsung will soon roll out the new version to non-beta users and shift its focus to the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch FE. These two watches should also receive the big feature update before the end of 2024.
Based on Wear OS 5, One UI 6 Watch brings a myriad of changes to Samsung’s smartwatches. There are tons of new features to look forward to, including advanced health monitoring tools. Energy Score is one of the standout additions. It quantifies your readiness for the day’s activities based on your sleep last night, activities on the previous day, and several other factors. The score tells you whether you should take it lightly today or go all in.
Galaxy Watch users also get improved navigations, new watch faces, and many other features that enhance their smartwatch experience. Samsung has been slow to roll out this update, suggesting massive optimizations and internal testing for all models. You can always check for updates manually from the Settings app on your watch or the Watch Settings menu on the Galaxy Wearable app on your paired smartphone.
