Samsung’s Galaxy Enhance-X app has received another major update, introducing version 2.1.33. The company is rolling out a handful of new video features and enhancements to this AI-powered photo editing app. The update is available widely via the Galaxy Store and follows a big release in early October.
Galaxy Enhance-X updated with longer video support and more
Galaxy Enhance-X is a photo editing app that lets Galaxy users “enhance” the look of their photos and videos with AI-powered tools. Samsung is rolling out a new update for the app, adding support for longer videos. You can now edit videos up to 30 minutes long. That’s a massive upgrade from the previous limit of just 120 seconds, which was hardly practical.
Video editing also gets easier with a new zoomed-in video timeline. When you press and hold on the video timeline, you get a zoomed view, enabling finer controls for more precise editing — like editing a slow-motion video. We always felt the need for this function when editing videos through Galaxy Enhance-X.
The last update introduced Motion Clipper to Galaxy Enhance-X. It lets users create GIFs from motion photos. The new version improves this feature for better GIFs. Samsung also improved Camera Shift, a feature designed to adjust the camera height in photos. Last month, the company added Camera Shift support for all human and pet images. You can now select multiple objects in an image.
While the changelog for the latest update also mentions landscape mode for tablets and “basic DeX support,” these changes were rolled out with the last update.
