Samsung is continuing its efforts to make the Galaxy Ring available worldwide. The company has already expanded its availability to several additional markets not covered at launch. It just announced the smart ring’s launch in two more European countries and several Middle Eastern nations.
Samsung launches the Galaxy Ring in seven additional countries
The Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s first foray into smart rings. Originally launched on July 10 in a limited number of markets, the company has gradually expanded its availability to many more regions. Now, consumers in seven Gulf countries — including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE — can purchase the Galaxy Ring. The wearable also arrives in Bulgaria and Romania this week.
As usual, the Galaxy Ring’s price varies across these markets. In Bulgaria, it is available for BGN 879 (roughly $477), while in Romania, it costs RON 2,225 (~$475). In the UAE, Samsung has priced its first-gen smart more competitively at AED 1,499 (about $408). Sales are already open in some of these markets, while the company will soon start accepting orders in others.
Despite a notable price difference, it’s the same Galaxy Ring everywhere. You get the same set of features no matter where you buy it. The ring comes in nine sizes (US sizes 5 to 13), and Samsung provides an official sizing kit with samples of all nine sizes to help customers choose the right fit. You can pick the ring in three color options: Titanium Black, Titanium Gold, and Titanium Silver.
The Galaxy Ring is a compact yet comprehensive health monitoring gadget compact. It includes a heart rate monitor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a skin temperature sensor. The ring has a titanium frame and an IP68 rating for water resistance (up to 100 meters of depth). It can last around 5–7 days on a single charge, with its charging case providing over 10 days of additional battery backup. Rumors suggest Samsung may soon release the Galaxy Ring 2 with more health features and longer battery life. Stay tuned for more updates.
