Samsung’s rumored Galaxy S25 Slim, aka Galaxy S25 SE (Special Edition), may offer a perfect combination of style and substance. The slim and lightweight flagship will allegedly boast top-notch cameras. A reputed leaker says the device will feature “Ultra” cameras, suggesting it will share the camera hardware with the Galax S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 Slim tipped to feature Ultra cameras
Samsung is rumored to launch five Galaxy S25 models next year. The three regular models — Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra — will arrive in early January, while the company should launch the Galaxy S25 FE in late 2025. It will be an entry-level offering sitting below the base S25 in the pricing tier and succeeding the S24 FE.
Sandwiched between these is a completely new device, rumored to be called the Galaxy S25 Slim or S25 SE. It bears the model number SM-S937, suggesting that it’ll be almost the same size as the S25 Ultra (SM-S938). Samsung plans to make a slimmer top-tier flagship, possibly dropping S Pen support and chopping the battery.
While we are still awaiting more information on its specs and dimensions, noted leaker Ice Universe says the so-called Galaxy S25 Slim will now compromise in cameras. It reportedly features a similar camera setup to the Ultra, meaning you will get a 200MP primary shooter. It’s unclear if the zoom cameras will also remain unchanged.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra should sport a 50MP 5X zoom camera and a 10MP 3x zoom camera. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ have the latter only, paired with a 50MP main camera. The ultrawide lens and selfie shooter are the same across all three models. The Galaxy S25 FE, meanwhile, is a more affordable phone and should feature the weakest camera hardware of all. Expect more details about the 2025 Samsung flagships in the coming weeks.
