Recently, two major One UI 7.0 leaks surfaced through a YouTuber who shared videos showcasing UI changes and other enhancements. The YouTuber was using what appeared to be an internal Galaxy S24 Ultra unit meant for Samsung’s engineers. He has shared another video to show us more as the company prepares for public beta release. We get a closer look at system animations, camera app overhaul, enhanced media controls, and more.
New One UI 7.0 leak shows the stock camera app and system animations
Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update is expected to bring major changes to the stock camera app. The company has completely redesigned the app to allow easier one-handed usage. An expandable bottom toolbar houses most of the buttons, with a few adjustments available in the top right corner. The “More” menu for additional camera modes also gets a bottom sheet and is more convenient to use compared to One UI 6 or older.
In his last video, the YouTuber showed the customization options for the new Quick Panel, which sits separate from the notification shade. Samsung allows users to switch to a merged view like before, and we now have its visuals too. Incoming notifications appear in a pill-shaped pop-up that looks modern and aesthetically pleasing. One UI 7.0 app animations are also smoother, which has been recently confirmed through other leaks as well.

Additionally, One UI 7.0 brings enhancements to lockscreen media controls. You get an expandable pill at the bottom for music or YouTube controls, with Samsung reusing the same pill for charging animations. Even the Quick Panel media sheet gets a visual refresh. Overall, these leaks paint a promising picture of Samsung’s Android 15 update for Galaxy devices, already expected to be the biggest update in the company’s history. Stay tuned for a beta release, possibly next month.
