Galaxy Book 6 Deal Knocks $550 Off Weeks After Launch

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 just a few weeks ago, and it’s already seeing a great deal. That’s not typical for a newly released device and makes it easier to consider for early buyers. Price drops this soon after launch don’t always stick around, so it may be worth checking while it’s still available.
Galaxy Book 6 hits lowest price yet in current deal
Best Buy has dropped the Galaxy Book 6 to $899.99, not long after its US debut. That’s $550 off its $1,449.99 list price. The same configuration is currently priced $1,199 on Samsung’s website, making Best Buy’s offer notably lower. It’s a sizable gap, especially for a device that only recently went on sale.
It runs Intel’s Core Ultra 7 Series 3 processor with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB SSD. The Galaxy Book 6 series leans on Intel’s latest platform for improved CPU, GPU, and NPU performance over the previous generation. In practical terms, it’s a straightforward upgrade for everyday use and some AI-related tasks.
Speaking of design and aesthetics, you get a slim chassis, a 16-inch 120Hz touchscreen, a good port selection, and a fingerprint reader. It also keeps Samsung’s ecosystem features for connecting with Galaxy phones and tablets. In a few words, it’s in line with what Samsung typically offers in this category.
The early discount is unusual. Samsung laptops don’t usually drop this quickly after launch. At $899.99, it’s priced below many similar ultraportables. That alone makes it worth considering if you’re already looking at this segment. I’d say don’t wait and go for it!
