Prime Video Joins Short-Form Video Trend, Introduces Clips

In recent years, short-form video has become a favorite way for people to discover entertainment quickly. Now, Prime Video has also adopted this format for movies and shows, calling it Clips. This comes just a few weeks after other popular OTT platforms like Netflix and Disney+ integrated a similar experience.
Clips features a wide range of entertainment content
Prime Video’s Clips lets you discover movies and TV shows through scrollable, short-form video feeds. It is the same format the platform previously used to show NBA highlights on the NBA collection page during the 2025–26 season. Amazon says Clips are currently available to select customers in the United States. Full availability may happen across iOS, Android, and Fire tablets this summer.
To find Clips on Prime Video, open the mobile app and scroll down on the home page until you see the Clips carousel. Tap any clip to enter a full-screen vertical feed for more personalized short videos. From there, you can watch the full movie or TV show, rent or buy it, or subscribe to access it. You can also add titles to your watchlist or “like” the clip.
The app analyzes your viewing history and shows new clips each time you open the experience, keeping the feed fresh. The best thing is that you can also share a clip with friends instantly. To do so, tap the share button on the clip. Now choose a messaging app, social platform, or email and send it. The recipient will get a link that opens the clip in the Prime Video app.
“Clips gives customers a whole new way to browse with short, personalized snippets tailored to their interests. Whether they have a few minutes to scroll or are looking for something to watch when they have more time, entertainment is just a tap away,” said Brian Griffin, director of global application experiences at Prime Video.
