Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Demand Appears Strong, Production Raised

Samsung saw solid demand for its Galaxy S26 series during the pre-order period. It looks like the company is still seeing that momentum, as production volume has increased for this month. The Galaxy S26 Ultra appears to be attracting the most attention around the world.

Samsung revises production for Galaxy S26 series

According to a report from ZDNet Korea, Samsung has raised its April production plan for the Galaxy S26 series to 3 million units. This is an increase of 600,000 units from a previous estimate of 2.4 million units. It shows that the company remains confident that the flagship lineup will continue to drive sales.

Samsung has revised its April production plan across all three models. The base Galaxy S26 accounts for 1.3 million units, the S26+ for 200,000 units, and the S26 Ultra for 1.5 million units. In comparison with earlier estimates, the base model sees an increase of 500,000 units, while the Ultra model gets an additional 200,000 units. Meanwhile, the company decreases the Plus model’s volume by 100,000 units.

While the standard model sees the biggest increase, the Ultra still makes up the majority of total production volume. “A notable point this year is that the sales proportion of the Ultra model among the three S26 series models exceeds 60–70%,” said an industry official.

Thanks to the innovative Privacy Display solution, the S26 Ultra has attracted consumer attention. The feature keeps the screen clearly visible from the front but makes it appear nearly invisible from the side. Furthermore, the phone’s advanced camera features, including Nightography, Generative Edit, and Super Steady horizontal lock, are also gaining interest on social media.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung has slightly lowered its production plan for May, though the figures are not yet known. If you are planning to buy a Galaxy S26 model, now might be the right time.
