Samsung may not be done with One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S23 series. A forum moderator says the company is readying Beta 3 for the 2023 flagships. The Galaxy S24 lineup, which picked up six beta builds, looks on track to receive the stable update next week.
Galaxy S23 may get One UI 7 Beta 3 before the stable release
Samsung has already confirmed that the One UI 7 stable update will be available for eligible models starting on April 7. The Galaxy S24 series will lead the line, followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. The company will gradually expand the rollout to the Galaxy S23 and other devices. It may take a couple more weeks for the 2023 flagship lineup to get this update.
Ahead of that, Samsung may push one more beta build to these phones. “Samsung will be releasing the next One UI 7 Beta version for S23 soon,” a moderator from the company’s One UI Beta Team in India said recently. Since the Galaxy S23 series has already received two beta updates, Beta 3 appears to be in the pipeline.
That said, another beta moderator from the same team previously claimed that “a UI 7 stable update will be released very soon” for the Galaxy S23. These contradicting statements from Samsung representatives have created confusion among users. It’s unclear if a new beta build will arrive over the next few days or if the next release will be the stable version.
