A few hours ago, Samsung officially announced the rollout of the stable One UI 7.0 update, starting April 7. This update brings advanced AI features from the Galaxy S25 series to older models. Audio Eraser is one of the new additions, and we already have an official list of devices that support this AI tool.
These Samsung phones will get Audio Eraser with One UI 7.0
Audio Eraser enables Galaxy users to isolate and remove unwanted sounds from videos with ease. It’s a powerful tool to make your videos crisp with less background noise. The feature can identify six different types of sounds, such as human voices, music, wind, crowd noise, and nature sounds, in videos and lower their intensity to filter unwanted noise.
While it doesn’t entirely cut off unwanted sounds, Audio Eraser can make a difference depending on the audio quality. Unfortunately, not all Galaxy devices can run this AI feature. According to Samsung, it will be available only on the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10 series.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S23 series misses out on Audio Eraser despite featuring a fairly capable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Maybe this is an incomplete list, we shall find out next month. Samsung’s official announcement also confirms a bunch of other AI features for recent Galaxy flagships, including foldables. Some of those already exist but receive major functional upgrades in One UI 7.0
AI Select enables intuitive content extraction by recognizing on-screen elements. Users can simply swipe the Edge Panel and tap ‘AI Select’ to save a video as a GIF or capture text. Writing Assist helps users summarize and format text efficiently, while Drawing Assist converts sketches and text prompts into refined images using AI.
Additionally, One UI 7.0 deepens its integration with Google Gemini, allowing users to interact with their devices using natural speech. Gemini is now available on the power button, replacing Bixby as the default AI assistant. Users can also search settings in everyday language. For example, saying “My eyes are feeling tired” will suggest adjusting brightness or activating Eye Comfort Shield.
With the stable rollout set to begin on April 7, it’s only a few more weeks of waiting before Galaxy users worldwide can finally get a taste of One UI 7.0. Samsung’s beta program has been limited to select devices in a handful of markets. Stick around for more information, including a precise One UI 7.0 rollout roadmap.
