Samsung first launched the One UI 7.0 beta program in December. But initially, it was limited to the Galaxy S24 series (excluding FE). However, the Galaxy S24 lineup may not be the only one to receive the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 beta. Recently, we saw evidence of Samsung planning One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 7 and now, the same goes for the Galaxy S23 series. This development isnโt exactly a bolt from the blue. One UI 7.0 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series should have kicked off at least two months ago.
One UI 7.0 beta might be finally coming for the Galaxy S23 series
Tipster Tarun Vats spotted the One UI 7.0 beta on Samsungโs servers for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The discovered beta carries build version S918NKSU6ZYBG and itโs said to be โmost likelyโ intended for public release, according to Vats. This suggests that it is separate from the internal test versions that frequently appear on Samsungโs servers.
If and when the One UI 7.0 beta for the S23 series finally starts rolling out, we expect it to reach all eligible regions. These regions include China, India, Germany, Poland, Korea, the UK, and the US. While only the beta build for the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been spotted so far, itโs only a matter of time before it becomes available for the Galaxy S23 and S23+ as well.
Of course, this raises an important question, when will the stable version be released? A few days ago, an alleged Samsung Romania meeting detailed the One UI 7.0 stable release roadmap. But two community moderators were quick to refute those claims. As of now, the official release timeline remains up in the air. But itโs likely to start rolling out in April and May, starting with the Galaxy S24 series.
