Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 series at its Unpacked event on January 22. Leaks have already revealed several exciting features, including the debut of Now Brief. A fresh leak now gives us a closer look at Now Brief and confirms a deeper Gemini integration.

Now Brief is an extension of the Now Bar Samsung introduced with One UI 7.0. While the Now Bar gives you quick access to active apps, Now Brief is designed to provide timely and relevant information throughout the day. Leaked marketing materials spotted by Tecnoblog show three examples.
First, you’ll get a Morning Brief with the weather forecast and Energy Score, likely sourced from your wearable devices like the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring. Your Commute Brief includes recommendations like opening Maps and playing music and alerts like expiring discount coupons. Finally, the Now Brief bar ends the day with a highlight of memorable moments and physical activity goals.
Beyond Now Brief, Samsung has integrated Google’s Gemini AI deeper into the system on Galaxy S25 devices. A leaked slide hints at a command where Gemini identifies places mentioned in a YouTube video and saves them to Samsung Notes. This integration suggests a more dynamic interaction between the assistant and native apps, streamlining multitasking and content creation.
Camera specs confirmed
The latest Galaxy S25 leak also confirms the rumored camera and battery specs for the Plus and Ultra models. Samsung has changed nothing on the former. You get a 12MP selfie camera, 50MP primary rear camera, 10MP 3x zoom lens, and 12MP ultrawide shooter. Its battery capacity remains at 4,900mAh, likely with 45W wired charging.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra, meanwhile, upgrades to a 50MP ultrawide camera, while keeping the rest unchanged. We are talking about a 200MP primary shooter, 50MP 5x zoom lens, 10MP 3x zoom lens, and 12MP selfie camera. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, the same as the S24 Ultra.
These leaked marketing materials also contain renders revealing the design details. It’s not like the design is still a secret, but we get another close look at the Galaxy S25 lineup ahead of the official launch next week.
