Samsung will pull the wraps off the Galaxy S25 series at Galaxy Unpacked on January 22. Along with the new phones, the company will roll out the Galaxy Ring in two additional sizes and expand its availability to more regions. But thatโs not all. Samsung is also packing some useful new features into the Health app. According to a newsroom post, the Sleep environment report and Sleep time guidance will roll out in two phases. The former will come in the first half of 2025, and the latter in the second half.
Samsung teased new features coming to the Health app
Samsung Health will soon roll out a major update that will take your wellness journey to the next level with smarter tools and personalized insights. The focus is on improving sleep and mental well-being, all part of Samsungโs vision to deliver AI-powered health solutions.
First up, weโve got the Sleep environment report, expected to drop in mid-2025. So, what does it do? It takes a deep dive into your surroundings, analyzing factors like temperature, humidity, and lighting that could be messing with your sleep. Each morning, youโll get tips on how to tweak your environment for better rest. And hereโs the cool part: it pairs with SmartThings, so the app can automatically adjust your room settings to create the perfect sleep atmosphere.
Next, weโve got the Sleep time guidance tool, which will help you fine-tune your bedtime based on your sleep patterns and daily routine. By analyzing your sleep quality and habits, itโll offer personalized recommendations to help you get more consistent rest.
Also on the way is the Mindfulness tracker for your mental well-being. It combines mood tracking with guided breathing exercises and meditations to help you de-stress and unwind, especially before bed. This tool is all about improving both your mental health and sleep quality. To use it, though, youโll need to wear either a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring for at least three consecutive nights of sleep tracking.
