It’s already mid-February, and if you were hoping for a stable rollout of One UI 7.0, there’s some disappointing news. The stable build isn’t arriving just yet. In fact, just when we thought the beta rounds for One UI 7.0 were over, we learned that Samsung might be planning even more beta releases before the official launch. That’s why Samsung is set to roll out One UI 7.0 Beta 4 to the Galaxy S24 series this week. It’s not the best news, but there might be some surprises in store.
One UI 7.0 beta 4 rolls out this Monday for Galaxy S24
According to tipster Tarun Vats, Samsung will begin rolling out One UI 7.0 beta 4 to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra on Monday, February 17. So, if you’ve already installed the beta version, expect another update before the stable build arrives. Vats also mentioned that this update might come with the ZYB6 or ZYB8 build version.
Although Vats didn’t specify any regions, the U.S. and Korea are likely to be among the first to receive the update. Given the delays, though, it wouldn’t be surprising if other beta regions get it at the same time. As for potential surprises, this beta might bring the Galaxy S25’s Best Face feature to the Galaxy S24 series.
What’s interesting, One UI 7.0 Beta 3 started rolling out more than a month ago. It was expected to be the final beta round. But here we are, still waiting for another update.
Two reliable sources have also suggested there might be a fifth and sixth beta release for One UI 7.0, which could delay the stable rollout even further. Worse, these are reportedly scheduled a month apart, meaning we could be looking at beta updates until April. If this timeline holds, we might see the stable One UI 7.0 release for the Galaxy S24 series in May. It makes you wonder when other devices will get it. And, for what it’s worth, this could push back the One UI 7.1 timeline.
